To add the video:

  1. Go to Blocks.
  2. Drag and Drop the Video block to the section of the email where you would like to display your video. (A green block will appear with the text: Drop Here).
  3. Click on Link to Video.
  4. The Video Gallery page will open. Hover over your video and click Insert. Note: If you do not have the video added to your Video Gallery, you can click on the Insert Video from URL dropdown. Under Video URL paste your video URL, then click Insert. The video will be added to your Video Gallery and automatically to your Email.
  5. Customize your Video block by choosing a background, border color, and or padding. You can also click on Replace if you would like to replace your selected video with another.
  6. Last, click Save & Close when done.

Important: The video is not embedded in your email. This is because the email clients would flag the email as spam if your email contains scripts and embed tags. Benchmark overcomes this problem by using a screenshot of the video and a link on it. When the recipient clicks on the image to play the video, the recipient is taken to a web version of the email with the video in it. The video will play in the browser within your email layout.
