What is Automations?
Automations is a Benchmark Email tool that automatizes a certain aspect of your email campaign. This feature encompasses our autoresponder, or Contact List Automation, and will send emails based on: A contact has been added to a list A birthday or anniversary date A reminder date Additionally, automations is the ability to send emails when a person clicks on a link or opens an email. Do the Automations scheduled with a zero get sent immediately?
When you create an automation message with a send interval of zero (0) days, the message may not be sent immediately, but will be sent within 24 hours from the time a contact subscribes.
Tips for plain-text email formatting
Always include a plain-text alternative message with all your HTML emails that you send through Benchmark, because some people choose not to view HTML and would rather read text messages.. Also, some anti-spam applications view an HTML email that's sent without a plain-text alternative as "sloppy" and typical of spam, ending in your message being blocked. Does the Free Trial have any limits?
Under the free trial you have full access to the design, list management, campaign tracking and set-up tools. The only limitation is that you are limited to sending to 250 contacts during the trial. If someone forwards my email, will the recipient’s actions be tracked in my reports?

Do I need to sign the affidavit every time I upload a list?
For the first few contact lists you upload, it's mandatory that you sign the list approval affidavit. We may also request opt-in details for few sample records randomly selected from your contact lists. However, once we are comfortable with your email marketing practices, we'll start approving your contact lists without the affidavit.

What is a Signup Form and how does it work?

Signup Forms allow your site visitors to subscribe to your email newsletter straight from your website.
