From the My Home page, click on the Events icon Click on the desired Event Name Click on the Details tab a) If no tickets have been purchased, you may edit all ticket details under Ticket Info b) If there have been ticket purchases, you may edit all details except the Ticket Name and Price. In this case, you may add a new ticket and if you wish to, "hide" the original ticket by selecting Hidden from the Status drop-down menu (and ignore the "Enter Access Code" field) Click Save or Save & Next

How do I set up PayPal or Google Checkout payments for my tickets?
Along with Benchmark's CC Processing, you also have the option to use Paypal or Authorize.net as processors. This means that anybody purchasing a ticket can do so via paypal or through your own Authorize.net account. Please keep in mind that there are transactional charges that each processor will apply to each transaction. Ticket sales made through Paypal and Authorize.net will be distributed to you via the same processor. So if you chose Paypal as your ticket processor, you will be paid by Paypal and not by Benchmark. This may or may not result in a faster turnaround time for funds. Choosing Benchmark CC Processing, Paypal, or Authorize.net is within the Event creation process but we will highlight the step here: Log into your Benchmark Events account and create a new Event Complete the Event details then scroll down to Ticket Info Then select a payment processor between remaining tickets and currency options

What are the Fee-handling options available in Benchmark Events?
Depending on the processing option you choose, fees are applied different for each. Please see the following table if you have had a Benchmark Events account prior to 2016, please refer to the below table for the changes: Old New BME Credit Card Processing Per-Ticket Fee $0.99 $0.75 Benchmark Fee 2% 2% Credit Card Transactional Fee 3% 3% Paypal Per-Ticket Fee $0 $0.75 Benchmark Fee 0% 2% Paypal Transactional Fee 2.9% + $.30 2.9% + $.30* Authorize.net Per-Ticket Fee n/a $0.75 Benchmark Fee n/a 2% Authorize.net Transactional Fee n/a 2.9% + $.30* Google Wallet N/A There is an initial fee of $0.75 per ticket for all payment methods, as well as a 2% fee. These are fees that Benchmark charges and applies. With these fees however, Benchmark charges only a maximum of $8 per ticket, including the 2% Benchmark Fee. The Credit Card, Paypal, and Authorize.net Transactional Fees do NOT have a cap. These charges are from the corresponding services and Benchmark has no control over these fees, unlike Benchmark fees. *The 2.9% is a per-ticket charge where as the $.30 is a per-transaction charge. So no matter how many tickets you purchase, it will be 2.9% of the price, plus $.30 cents.

When do I get paid?
Benchmark will issue payment for your event 5 days after is has completed. You can choose to be paid by check, bank transfer or Paypal. Note that Benchmark reserves the right to refuse to disburse the proceeds from Event ticket sales if the Event has been canceled. In the event of an Event cancelation, it is the responsibility of the Event Organizer to refund ticket sales. However, Benchmark may determine that it is more appropriate for us to refund ticket sales in some cases. In such cases, funds will not be disbursed to the Event Organizer and will, instead, be directly refunded to the ticket purchasers.

How Will Benchmark Pay Me For My Ticket Sales?
Depending on which payment processor and which payment method you choose, the time it takes to receive your funds may vary. If you've chosen Paypal or Authorize.net as your processors, you will be provided the funds by each service respecfully. If you've chosen Benchmark Email CC Processing, you will be asked to choose between the following methods: Check - This may take the longest as it relies on the Postal Service ACH - Most common and recommended for quick payment but may take 3-4 business days after the close of the event. Wire Transfer - May be subject to an additional $40 fee You will be asked to choose a method or input your credentials (depending on which processor) during your Event creation in the 3rd step, Payment. Note: If an Event is cancelled after accepting ticket purchases, it is the responsibility of the Event Organizer to refund ticket sales. If an Event Organizer cancels their Event and/or Benchmark account and subsequently refuses to refund ticket sales, Benchmark will disburse funds directly to the ticket purchasers. (This instance is the only time Benchmark will directly refund ticket sales. For more information, review the Benchmark Events Terms of Service.)

Can My Registrants Pay for their Tickets Without Paying Online?
Options for offline payments are available. You must activate and choose to accept offline payments within the process of creating an Event. Here has where and how to activate the offline payment options: Create a new event and proceed to the Payment step of the process Scroll down to the section for offline payments Then choose at least one of the options available Once you select and option and save the event, or make the event live at this stage, your attendees may be able to pay at the door. But how do your attendees choose an offline method? Here's how: First choose the number of tickets you wish to purchase offline and register Then click Show other payment options then click pay offline The Registrant will then need to complete the registration form then select the option they prefer.

How do I create an event with Benchmark Event Marketing?
Login to your Benchmark Events account. Click on Create Event in the blue bar near the top of your screen or click Create An Event at the bottom of the Recent Events panel.Upon clicking either of the links, your browser will navigate to a page where you will enter all of the information relevant to your Event. Enter the Event Title, Event Venue (optional), and the Event Location (optional). Enter the Date and Time of the Event. Enter the Repeat cycle for theEvent, if applicable (optional). Enter a description of the event in the provided space (optional). Benchmark can help publicize your event by placing this descriptionin various event search directories on the web, but you can choose to keep the event private and can even restrict access by requiring a password in order to view the event page and register for the event. The description will also appear on your Event Promo Webpage, which you can further edit if you choose to do so. In the Ticket Info area: For each ticket type, enter the Ticket Name, Quantity and Price. The Ticket Info area allows the creation of multiple types of tickets and you can specify almost any kind of ticket (including General Admission, VIP, Seminar, Exhibits Only and even Free tickets). Click Settings to specify details regarding when tickets go on sale and when sales stop (sales will automatically stop if the event is completed). Specify the Event Capacity. The number in this box caps the total number of tickets sold for your event. Thus, you can create more tickets than the capacity of the venue (without over-selling its capacity Click Add Ticket to create additional ticket categories. You simply name the ticket type and specify a quantity and price. Provide information about the Event Host. Click on Advanced Options for further opportunities to use Benchmark Events tools. The link will open a window where you can enter your Twitter Hashtag for inclusion in your Email Confirmations. You can also enter your Google Analytics Web Properties ID for website tracking purposes and you can specify the Event Organizer, upload an Event Logo and specify whether your event is Ticketed or not.
