Benchmark Partner Program

Partner Program Updated on June 30, 2023

The Benchmark Partner Program is a service that allows our customers to refer new customers to Benchmark. The program’s benefit is earning a 30% commission for every new account that converts to a paid plan. In addition, partner accounts have different options to help promote and introduce Benchmark Email to their site visitors.

Before getting started

  • Update your Payment Options to ensure you receive commission payments.
  • Payments are processed once a commission has reached $30 or more.
  • Commission payments are sent on or around the 15th of each month.

Available Partner Accounts

All Benchmark accounts have the Partner Program features within their account. However, you can also signup directly through our Partner page. Three Partner programs are available: Integrations, Affiliates, and Agency partners. All three have the same options for promoting Benchmark to their visitors.

How It Works

To get started, you’ll need to have a Benchmark account. Both free and paid users have access to the Partner Program. You’ll then use your unique affiliate link, banners, or video ads to advertise Benchmark to your site visitors. When site visitors sign up for a Benchmark Account, they’ll be registered with your partner ID.

If the partner account upgrades to a paid plan, you’ll receive a 30% commission from their plan for the lifetime of that account. Payments are stopped if the partner account cancels.

Payment Information

Before promoting Benchmark Email to your site visitors, set up your account for referral commission payments.

Follow the steps below to set up your account correctly and get paid from your paid referrals.

  1. From your Benchmark account, go to the user menu and select Partner Program.
  1. Select Profile and fill in the Payment Options section.

Managing Partner Referrals

After a visitor creates a Benchmark account using your partner ID, they are added to the Referrals Report page. When a partner upgrades to a paid plan, they are added to the Sales and Commissions Report page.

To see a list of your referrals, follow the steps below.

  1. Click on your account user menu and select Partner Program.
  2. From the left menu, select Referrals.
  1. On the referral page, you will see accounts added by month + year.
  2. The partner accounts added are listed within the month + year they signed up. Additionally, you can see if the accounts added were paid or free and the total of accounts added for that month.

To see accounts added, click on the Month + Year.

On the next page, you will see the partner account name,  the plan they signed up for, and the signup date.

To see accounts that upgraded to a paid plan, click the Sales & Commissions option. The report provides the total of new and billed accounts, the amount collected from the paid signups, the percentage of what you’ll collect, and your commission total.

Commissions earned reflect within minutes. However, in some cases, it can take up to 24 hours for the Commission’s report to update. Please contact our support team if you are not seeing a partner’s commission.

To see monthly amounts per referral, click on the month + year. On the next screen, you will see the referral account name, the amount paid by the referral, and your commission for the account.

Each referral opens to the Credited Sales Summary, where you can see the pay date and amount collected.

Partner Commission Payments

Partner commissions are paid on or around the 15th of every month. Payment is sent to the Benchmark partner once the commission has reached $30 or more. If your commissions have not reached $30, they are carried to the next month.

Commissions for previous months are paid the following month. For example, commissions earned in January are paid in February.

IMPORTANT

Avoid missing commission payments and update the payment information section of your account. If you submit your payment information after one year, only new payments will be paid from the date you provided the information. Anything in the previous months will not be applicable.

Promoting Benchmark Email

Benchmark Partners have different options to promote our services, and these options are all created with your account ID so that when a new person signs up for Benchmark Email, you’ll receive credit.

A fast and convenient way of promoting Benchmark is by sharing your Partner’s URL. You can find your Partner ID URL in your account by visiting your partner page. When someone signs up using your partner URL, the account will be reflected in your Referrals list.

Here are some other ways you can begin promoting Benchmark Email to your visitors.
