How do I make a character a superscript or subscript?

To make a character superscript or subscript, you will have to use the SUP or SUB tag.

To superscript a character in your email

  1. Click on the “Edit icon of the block in which you wish to add the symbol.
  2. On the left panel, click on or in the toolbar of the block, click on the HTML button.
  3. In the Code View popup, find the character you wish to make superscript.
  4. Enclose the character with the “sup” tag. i.e. place <sup> before the character and </sup> after the character Example: Super Product <sup>&#8482;</sup> would be displayed as Super Product ™
  5. Click Save & Close.
  6. Click Save on the block you are editing to save your changes.

To subscript a character in your email

  1. Click on the “Edit icon of the block in which you wish to add the symbol.
  2. On the left panel, click on or in the toolbar of the block, click on the HTML button.
  3. In the Code View popup, find the character you wish to make subscript.
  4. Enclose the character with the “sub” tag. i.e. place <sub> before the character and </sub> after the character Example : Super Product <sub>&#8482;</sub> would be displayed as Super Product ™
  5. Click Save & Close.
  6. Click Save on the block you are editing to save your changes.
You can now do a preview or send a test email to confirm that the text effects appear in your email.
