Due to recent API changes, our LiveChat integration is currently unavailable.
Instead, we recommend uploading your LiveChat contacts through an .XLS, .XLSX, .CSV or .TXT file. For steps on how to upload contacts, click here.
LiveChat is an online live support customer service. With the Benchmark LiveChat integration, you can follow up with customers and leads by adding them to your contact lists. You can also automatically add contacts to your Benchmark lists when they interact with you via chat.
To integrate both accounts, please follow the steps below:
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Get Started.
Select the LiveChat integration option.You will need to enter your LiveChat API Key and Username. Please follow the next steps to retrieve your API Key from LiveChat.
Login to your LiveChat account on their website
On the Dashboard, click on the Agents tab.
Pick yourself from the list of agents.
Click on Reveal next to your API KeyNote: Once you have selected the Reveal text option, the API will display automatically.
Go back to your Benchmark account, enter the API key on the LiveChat API Key space and enter your LiveChat username and click Save & Next.
Select which list you want your contacts added to or create a new one and then click Save & Next.
Map the LiveChat Fields according to the data fields in your Benchmark list.
Click Save & Next.
Now that you’ve set up Benchmark with LiveChat you can begin merging your important data with these easy steps!
The final number of imported contacts may be less than the projected number due to the filtering of certain emails. Benchmark Email removes role-based emails, duplicates, unsubscribes and blocked domains. Click Here to learn more.
Note: Since this integration offers a one-time import if you need to import more contacts at a later time, you will have to repeat the steps above. However, when you go to import again, you can choose the previous connection or create a new one.

Log into Benchmark Email
Select Integration from the User Menu at the top-right of the page
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select View More
Go to the LiveChat integration option
Login to your LiveChat account on their website
Select My profile in the user menu on the top-right of the dashboard
Click Edit near the top-right of your profile page
Select For developers near the top of the Edit an agent page.
Back in your Benchmark account, enter the API key where it says LiveChat API Key and Username where prompted then hit Save & Next
Select the list (or create a new one) to which you would like to add contacts and click Save & Next
Map LiveChat Fields according to the data fields in your Benchmark Email list
