How to connect the WooCommerce Extension and Benchmark Email

Yes, you read that right. WooCommerce now has an extension for Benchmark Email. The Benchmark Email extension will enable you to push your WooCommerce store and abandoned cart data directly into your Benchmark account.

First things first, you need to have installed the WooCommerce plugin to your WordPress account. Click Here to learn how to Install the Plugin.

Once your WooCommerce plugin has been installed, you will need to set up your Benchmark extension. To add the Benchmark Extension, please follow the steps below.

  1. Log into your WordPress account
  2. Scroll Down to WooCommerce and select Settings
  3. Then click on the Advanced tabhow to add the woocommerce extension
  4. Now, click on the Benchmark Email option
  5. Check the options you would like to have available – Skip cart step -Move email field up
  6. Check Opt-in Field- and Add the text that will display to your users
  7. Paste in your Benchmark API Key
  8. Click on “Sync Customers to Benchmark”
  9. Then select Save Changes

Two contact list will automatically be created in your Benchmark account.

  • WooCommerce Customers
  • WooCommerce Abandoned Carts

Once you see the lists in your Benchmark account, you can begin sending to your customers via regular emails or via Automation Pro.

Note: Only new orders submitted after you installed the extension will show up in your Benchmark account.

Troubleshooting:

‡If your the extension seems not to be working, you can delete and reinstall the plugin.  If this doesn’t help other plugins or your WP theme could be the issue.

Active Plugins and WordPress Themes-Try changing your theme, or if you have other plugins deactivate them and leave only WooCommerce and try again.
