What fields are required when creating an event?

There are only a few details that are required when creating an Event in your Benchmark account. The details are:



  • Event Title
  • Event Date and Time
  • Event Host

At least one type of ticket must be specified for the event. (For free events, select a free ticket. You can also specify a ticketed or non-ticketed event in Advanced Options.)

That’s it. Of course, additional information is very helpful in promoting your event. You’ll probably want to include a Description of the Event and will want to specify the Event Location. You may also wish to customize your event’s Promotional Webpage and send out Email Invitations, but you are only required to furnish a small amount of information in order to create the event.

Note that you must provide some additional details when signing up for your Benchmark Events account, but to create an event, very little information is required.
