Why Don‘t Videos Play Within Emails?
Videos do not play in inboxes due to most inboxes do not support video play when viewing the email, inboxes such as Outlook and Thunderbird are a couple examples. In order for Benchmark to guarantee videos to be played, they are linked to your video page instead.
Benchmark had formerly played videos within the webpage version of emails you send. However, we had made a change to our security by adding SSL Encryptions to our webpages, which is not compatible by most video players. Instead, we now link to your video webpage as this will still allow you to use videos while keeping you secure.
