Knowledge Base Home Email Features Benchmark Email Archive
The Benchmark Email Archive is a feature that creates a landing page for all of your newsletters to be stored and shared in one place.
The Benchmark Archive feature is only available in our Lite, Pro, and Enterprise plans, as well as any legacy plans.
Having an archive page is like having a filing system for your campaigns. Unlike sharing your emails on Facebook or Twitter, your Archive is your own private stash of emails you’ve created in the past. Each campaign has its own URL so you can reference or share them on an as-needed basis.
Creating your Archive is easy and fast. There are two ways of creating your Archive page in the Archive dashboard or while creating an email in the Email Checklist. However, if you decide to share an email to your Archive without previously enabling the Archive first, Benchmark will choose your archive page URL. If you need to change your Archive page URL, please contact our support team at support@benchmarkemail.com
To create your Archive homepage, follow these steps:
Your Archive URL is displayed in your archive homepage. If you don’t see one, you’ll need to set it up first. See the steps above.
There are two options to add emails to your Archive.
When creating an email, you’ll see the option to share the email to the Archive in your Email Checklist.
A second option to add emails to your archive is by going to the Archive page directly. Only sent emails, will be available in this view any draft or incomplete emails will not show up here.
Here you’ll see Active and Inactive emails, Active Emails are ones you’ve already shared to the archive page, and Inactive Emails are ones that have not yet been shared to the archive page. Emails that were previously deleted will not show up on this list.
There are some options to style and order the content of your Archive page. Please note, there is no option to edit the code of the actual page.
To edit or make changes to the appearance of your Archive page, please see the steps below.
On the next page Content Options, you can do the following:
On the next page Archive Page Details, you can customize the following:
On the next page Page Design, you can customize the background color, fonts, font size, and alignment for the following sections.
To Remove an Email from your Archive, follow the steps below.
Your email will then be removed from the Archive page.
Please note that removing an email from the Archive page does not delete the email from your Benchmark account.
If you would only like to hide an email from the Archive page, instead of completely removing it, you can do this in the Content Options step.
While all emails have a URL that can be shared, emails shared with your archive have a unique URL that contains your Archives’ name. To get the URL for a specific email in the archive, please follow the steps below.
