Benchmark Email Archive

Email Features Updated on November 17, 2022

The Benchmark Email Archive is a feature that creates a landing page for all of your newsletters to be stored and shared in one place.

The Benchmark Archive feature is only available in our Lite, Pro, and Enterprise plans, as well as any legacy plans.

Here are a few ways you can take advantage of our Archive feature:

  • Store all your email newsletters online – each one with its own URL.
  • Give your customers an easy, quick way to find your newsletters and emails from the past.
  • Store your how-to articles so product owners can go back and reference them when they need to.

Having an archive page is like having a filing system for your campaigns. Unlike sharing your emails on Facebook or Twitter, your Archive is your own private stash of emails you’ve created in the past. Each campaign has its own URL so you can reference or share them on an as-needed basis.

How to Create your Archive

Creating your Archive is easy and fast. There are two ways of creating your Archive page in the Archive dashboard or while creating an email in the Email Checklist. However, if you decide to share an email to your Archive without previously enabling the Archive first, Benchmark will choose your archive page URL. If you need to change your Archive page URL, please contact our support team at support@benchmarkemail.com

To create your Archive homepage, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Benchmark account
  2. Click on Emails, and then select Archive
  3. Click on the Create Archive URL option.
  4. Add a URL or keep the one we suggest, then click Save.
  5. You’ll be directed to the Archive homepage, where you’ll see your new archive URL.

Your Archive URL is displayed in your archive homepage. If you don’t see one, you’ll need to set it up first. See the steps above.

How to Edit your Archive page

There are some options to style and order the content of your Archive page. Please note, there is no option to edit the code of the actual page.

  • Enable or disable thumbnails of your emails on the Archive page.
  • Select the order of your emails by dragging them up or down.
