Occasionally, Adobe browser add-ons can cause issues with viewing PDF files. You can force all PDF files to open in Adobe Reader or Acrobat by following these steps:

1. Start Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
2. Click on Edit, followed by Preferences.
3. From the list on the left, click Internet.
4. Uncheck Display PDF in Browser.
