How do I use Automations?

First log into your Benchmark Email account at www.benchmarkemail.com, navigate to your Automations under your Tools menu, then click Create Automations.  Then follow the instruction for the type of Automation you would like to create:

Contact List Automation

  1. Click Select for Contact List Automation
  2. Give the Automation a name
  3. Select a List
  4. Then select a Trigger
  5. Input a From name and choose a From email address
  6. Then create your email or series of email

Engagement Automation

  1. Click Select for Engagement Automation
  2. Give the Automation a name
  3. Select a Trigger
  4. Then select an email*
  5. Input a From name and choose a From email address
  6. Then create your email or series of email

After you complete your email(s), you will then need to activate your automation.  Your automation will not work if it is not activated.

*emails must be in a Draft or Sent status.
